Alaska State Troopers responded to a request for a welfare check at a residence on Susitna River Road in Trapper Creek on Sunday, February 1st.
An initial State Trooper Dispatch report says Crystal Calice, aged 43, assaulted a friend with a knife. Alaska Department of Public Safety Information Officer Tim DeSpain clarified that Calice allegedly caused fear of assault with a cutting weapon. He says Calice and the person she allegedly assaulted live in the same household and that there were no reported injuries.
Calice was also found in possession of a controlled substance. She is charged with assault in the third degree and misconduct involving controlled substances in the fifth degree. DeSpain says the controlled substance is suspected to be methamphetamine…
