Every year, the US Small Business Administration (SBA) selects a small businessperson from each state to celebrate National Small Business Week May 4–10. For Alaska, the delegate comes from Advanced Supply Chain International (ASCI), an Anchorage logistics company. CEO and co-owner Christine Hopkins is being honored in 2025 for her management of ASCI Federal Services, a subsidiary that won a $12.4 million contract a couple years ago to support military and civilian federal agencies in Alaska.
“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from the SBA,” says Hopkins. “This award is a testament to the resilience of our team at ASCI and our commitment to supporting federal and commercial supply chain operations while fostering economic opportunities for small businesses,” Hopkins says.
Hopkins is in the running for National Small Business Person of the Year, to be named at a ceremony in Washington, DC. She is being recognized alongside an accountant from Arizona, a café in Connecticut, an insurance broker in Idaho, and a Montessori school in Maine…
