High-Speed Chase On Seward Highway Ends In Arrest Of Anchorage Woman Driving Stolen SUV

A high-speed police chase along the Seward Highway on Tuesday resulted in the capture of an Anchorage woman who operated a stolen vehicle while allegedly intoxicated.

The Alaska State Troopers initiated the incident by trying to stop a blue Honda CRV for speeding at 84 mph in a 65 mph zone at Mile 71 of the Seward Highway on March 25. The driver sped up after troopers turned to perform the stop and continued driving without stopping, which started the pursuit.
