A branch the man gripped “snapped,” causing him to fall down the Alaska cliff as he looked for his dog, authorities said
Authorities have rescued a man after he tumbled off a cliff in Alaska while looking for his missing dog.
The incident occurred on Sunday, March 30, when firefighters received a call for help near Point Woronzof off the coastal trail, the Anchorage Fire Department said in a Facebook post.
“A man noticed his dog Xena was missing and peered over the edge of the cliff to see if he could spot the dog,” authorities said. “The tree branch he gripped snapped, sending him tumbling down the cliff after the dog.”…
