Protestors demand ‘Justice for Kenneyon’ in front of Anchorage Police headquarters

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Protestors Saturday shouted “say his name” outside the Anchorage Police Department headquarters in downtown Anchorage, demanding justice for Kenneyon Baker.

16-year-old Baker was shot and killed in Anchorage’s Mountain View neighborhood in Oct. 2024. According to his mother Shannon Nelson, APD has not answered any of her questions about an investigation since she was informed of her son’s death.

Signs hoisted in the air demanded “Justice for Kenneyon,” as the crowd chanted “Justice delayed, justice denied.”…
