ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – On Saturday, the Unalaska Fire Department recovered the body of fisherman Jacob Riley Veeser. His body was discovered in the water along Captain’s Bay Rd.
28-year-old Veeser had been missing since the night of April 3. A search began for the man on Friday, but it was paused at 11:25 p.m. Friday night.
At 8:00 a.m. Saturday, members of the U.S. Coast Guard, Alaska State Troopers, Unalaska Fire Department, and Unalaska Police Department continued their search for Veeser. Locating his body shortly before 10:30 a.m…
