Starting at the local Delta Elementary Science Fair, students moved to the regional fair in Fairbanks and from there to the State Science Fair in Anchorage. Three local students earned a first-place ribbon. Loys Velazquez Santos in Astronomy, Axel Velazquez in Electrical Engineering, and Jacob Velazquez in Animal Science.
