ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A winter weather advisory was expanded to include Anchorage on Thursday. The city and surrounding areas could see 1 to 5 additional inches of snow. And it is also a winter weather advisory into Girdwood and Portage valleys, Turnagain Pass, and Whittier. This will remain in effect through Friday at 10 a.m.
Snow totals could be between 8 and 10 inches by the time the storm winds down.
