ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Calm returned Friday to the Eagle River neighborhood where Tony Kronos lived. After three days of around-the-clock police activity, officers left the house of an Anchorage police officer who lives directly behind Kronos.
Kronos, 40, has been missing from his home since March 6, when worried neighbors who hadn’t heard from him called his parents. Krono’s sister said they alerted police after discovering Krono’s back door had been kicked in and both his wallet and cell phone were still inside.
