In honor of Earth Day, the Division of Outdoor Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Alaska Trails to host a special clean-up event at Thunderbird Falls in Chugach State Park. The event will take place on April 22 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and volunteers are needed to help keep the park beautiful.
The Division of Outdoor Parks and Recreation will provide all the supplies needed for the event, including gloves, buckets, and trash bags. Volunteers will be focused on picking up trash, including pet waste, and helping to keep the trails clean.
