Alaskans take on “100 Miles in May” challenge to support fitness

May is here, and so is your chance to get active for a great cause—no matter where in Alaska you live.

The “100 Miles in May” challenge is officially underway, encouraging Alaskans from Anchorage to Unalaska to get moving. The goal? Walk, run, bike, ski or paddle your way to 100 miles by the end of the month.

There’s a small entry fee, but it supports a big mission. Proceeds go to the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame’s Healthy Futures program, promoting physical activity for kids across the state…
