Increasing visibility: Event working toward empathy for unhoused youth

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Anchorage can see the reality some face daily, in spending the night outside sleeping at Kincaid Park.

“Sleeping outside in the middle of the winter, sleeping in a group of people that you don’t know and aren’t sure about. But trust, it is really their last option,” said Joe Hemphill, Chief Development Officer at Covenant House Alaska.
