Rollerskiing is getting a moment in the spotlight here in Anchorage. A new city proclamation is raising awareness for the sport and the athletes who train on local roads and trails.
June 1st is now officially Rollerski Awareness Day in Anchorage, thanks to a proclamation from the mayor’s office. The recognition comes in support of the Alaska Pacific University Nordic Ski Center and its Olympic-caliber athletes.
