High-speed crash on Parks Highway kills one, critically injures another

A tragic crash on the Parks Highway has claimed the life of one person and left another hospitalized in critical condition.

It happened near mile marker 348 on the Parks Highway. Witnesses reported a black Dodge traveling at extremely high speeds — estimated around 100 miles per hour — through a 60-mile-per-hour zone. The vehicle also sped through an active construction area, narrowly missing two signal workers who were forced to jump out of the way.

Shortly after, the vehicle left the roadway near a curve, entered a ditch, and struck several small trees. Tire marks and debris stretched across the area, indicating the car re-entered the highway before flipping multiple times…
