ANCHORAGE, AK (Alaska’s News Source) – Rain showers have been steadily building into Southcentral this morning, with gusty conditions still with us. Winds through the night have gusted as high as 40 mph, with ongoing winds and rain expected throughout the day. Further north into the Interior, winds could lead to some areas of blowing dust, particularly near the Alaska Range.
SOUTHCENTRAL:
Windy conditions will remain with us throughout the day, with some of the strongest winds favoring the Copper River Basin, Palmer, West Anchorage and areas of the Western Prince William Sound. These locations can expect to see winds of 30 to 50 mph throughout the day, with the rest of Southcentral seeing winds of 15 to 25 mph…
