Rain remains to close out the week, with slow warming into next week

ANCHORAGE, AK (Alaska’s News Source) – Light rain showers are still with us across Southcentral, with most of the rain shifting east through the day. Overall, a cooler weather pattern remains across the state, although there is signs of warmer weather as we welcome in next week. For now though, many areas continue to hold onto a fall-ish weather pattern that has been stubborn to move out of the area.

SOUTHCENTRAL:

While light rain remains with us this morning, many areas of the Kenai, Anchorage and Valley will see drier conditions in the morning. The leading edge of the clearer skies is already building across parts of the Kenai, with a gradual trend towards sunnier weather into the evening. In typical nature, Anchorage may hold onto cloud cover a bit longer, but some late-day sunshine will arrive…
