There was word going around the land that there was a fun event happening over the next couple of weekends. So I ventured out to the faraway land of Russian Jack Park in Anchorage. There, I began my search for interviews and came across one of the three barons, Shane Mitchell. He shared that this is their second year at Russian Jack Park, which has allowed them to grow beyond their earlier locations.
“We had probably more acreage, and that was also a very beautiful venue,” said Shane Mitchell, also known as the Blue Barron. “It turned out to be not practical for wheelchairs and strollers, so we moved. But now this year we have 97 vendors.”
