A family in Wasilla is under investigation after Alaska State Troopers and Mat-Su Animal Care seized 21 dogs from their home following reports of neglect.
Austin McDaniel of the Alaska State Troopers explained that earlier this year, troopers were at the property for an unrelated criminal investigation when they noticed potential animal care issues. This observation prompted a joint investigation with Mat-Su Animal Care into the well-being of the dogs.
