Anchorage’s North Bivy Trail gets $100K upgrade and community support

It’s a big boost for a popular Anchorage trail — and a safer, smoother path is on the horizon.

On Wednesday, volunteers rolled up their sleeves at Far North Bicentennial Park to improve the North Bivy Trail, thanks to a partnership between Alaska Trails and Republic Services.

With the help of a $100,000 grant, crews and volunteers are building a new bridge and cleaning up the trail, ensuring it’s more accessible and durable for everyone to enjoy…
