ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Hikers climbing one of Alaska’s most popular peaks could have the opportunity to experience their hike in a unique solstice way this weekend.
On the summer solstice, hikers climbing up Flattop Mountain at Glen Alps could have the chance to jump on a trampoline at the summit. For the past five years, Cody Holland and his friends have been assembling a trampoline at the summit for people climbing the mountain.
“You get a whole new perspective on being on the top of the mountain. You know, that extra freedom, type of feeling, that comes with jumping on a trampoline,” Holland said…
