1 dead, 2 wounded in Spenard shooting

One man died Sunday morning after a shooting in Spenard that left two other people wounded, according to Anchorage police.

Police said in a brief statement that officers responded to the 1700 block of West 32nd Avenue, off Minnesota Drive near West Benson Boulevard, at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday. They found a man and a woman, both with upper-body trauma, who were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

About 90 minutes later, police found a second man with upper-body trauma who was declared dead at the scene…
