Driver arrested for DUI accused of trying to bribe police officer with $1,000 after killing cyclist

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU/Gray News) – A cyclist has died and the driver police say is responsible for his death is under arrest for driving under the influence.

According to Anchorage police, the crash occurred on June 19 when a driver of a Mazda SUV was “swerving badly” and going the wrong way on C Street near 64th Avenue.
