Anchorage camping ban marches forward towards second public hearing

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Anchorage Assembly is moving forward on development of a camping ban on some public lands.

The ordinance, AO 2025-74, was introduced several weeks ago and was opened for public comment at the most recent meeting of the Assembly. That comment period lasted for nearly four hours.
