ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Natasha, the Siberian Tiger of the Alaska Zoo, celebrated her 12th birthday on Sunday.
The birthday girl quickly tore open the gift that zoo staff prepared for her: a cardboard cake filled with rabbit and moose meat.
“We try to give them their favorite toys and treats on those days, and it’s just fun for us,” Jennifer Bierlair, a senior zookeeper, said. “We enjoy giving them a little birthday party.”…
