‘Be like Mike’: Motorcycle community honors Whittier Tunnel Fire Chief after his death

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A chorus of motorcycles hit the open road to honor one of their own, Mike Sweet.

Sweet was an Air Force veteran, worked as the fire chief for Whittier’s Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel and was avid motorcycle rider. He died recently, leaving the motorcycle riding community with a hole.
