ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner said he is visiting the state to see first-hand some of the issues facing both urban and rural Alaskans.
“I came here to be a great listener, to understand the needs of the people of Alaska, to understand the challenges of the people of Alaska and particularly when it comes to homelessness and affordable housing,” Turner said at a news conference Tuesday morning in Anchorage.
