Judge postpones resentencing youngest Alaskan woman to be convicted of murder to next week

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – After hours of additional witness testimony and arguments from the state and defense, an Anchorage judge has postponed making a ruling on the resentencing of the youngest Alaska woman to be convicted of murder.

Winona Fletcher was 14 years old in 1985 when she was arrested for murder in a Russian Jack neighborhood.

During court on Friday, she said not a day has passed since those murders that she hasn’t accepted responsibility for her actions…
