ANCHORAGE (Sept. 6) – Senior outside hitter Tia Allen notched 14 kills on career-high .462 hitting Saturday to help the Alaska Anchorage volleyball team remain perfect with a 25-12, 25-12, 25-16 sweep of Minot State in the Seawolf Invitational finale at the Alaska Airlines Center.
The Seawolves (7-0) also got six kills on .417 hitting and five total blocks from all-tournament performer Martina Riba as they outhit the visitors from North Dakota .290 to .009 and outblocked them 7-1.
The Beavers (0-4) were led by six kills apiece from Emily Willis and Katelyn Onespot-Danforth in the first-ever meeting between the programs…
