Anchorage residents, you may soon be asked to help shape the future of transportation in the region.
The Anchorage Metropolitan Area Transportation Solutions, or AMATS, is launching a new Household Travel Survey called Your Daily Journey. In partnership with the Municipality of Anchorage and the Alaska Department of Transportation, the survey aims to understand how residents get around — when they travel, where they’re going, and what mode of transportation they use.
Households randomly selected will receive an invitation in the mail over the coming weeks. Participants can track their trips using a smartphone app, online, or over the phone.
