ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Heavy rain in the Portage Valley is raising the concern of a possible landslide into Portage Lake.
An announcement was made by the U.S. Forest Service on the Chugach National Forest’s Facebook page.
“Due to heavy and sustained rainfall the last couple of days and more predicted for this weekend, visitors to the Chugach National Forest in Portage Valley are advised to exercise caution when entering the area,” the post states…
