Anchorage ICE arrest prompts viral video; attorneys say the incident was lawful

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A viral video of federal immigration agents arresting two workers has sparked community discussion about immigration enforcement after an Anchorage woman recorded the arrest Friday outside her home.

Jessica Sanigaq Ullrich says she was waiting for two workers to arrive to reseal her countertop when she heard yelling outside. Ullrich looked out her window to see a Countertop Solutions, LLC van parked across the street with the doors hanging open, and no one inside.

“There were also a couple unmarked police cars, or they looked like police cars because of the flashing lights,” Ullrich said. “They were also empty.”…
