ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Newly captured aerial footage from Alaska’s News Source shows the village of Kipnuk still reeling from the impacts of former Typhoon Halong, with scattered homes, standing water and widespread flooding across the tundra.
The drone video, filmed days after the storm wreaked havoc on western Alaska, offers one of the clearest looks yet at the devastation that forced hundreds of residents from their homes. Much of the ground remains saturated, and debris from damaged structures is visible across the area.
