ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Northwest Nazarene volleyball took the first set from Alaska Anchorage on the road but fell 3-1 on Saturday night.
NNU falls to 4-12 on the year and 3-6 in GNAC play.
The Nighthawks came out very strong in the first set, taking a 9-8 lead on a Maddy Hellem kill and never giving the advantage back. A UAA error gave NNU a 16-11 lead moments later, and then another 3-0 run put the Nighthawks up 19-12. NNU eventually took a 25-20 victory in the opening frame…
