The call for crafting supplies goes out for evacuees

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Blackbull Native store in midtown Anchorage has an area devoted to crafting supplies that people have dropped off or mailed in to give to victims of Typhoon Halong.

Blackbull owner Daphne Nicholai said supplies have come in from around the state for the evacuees, many of whom have nothing but time on their hands in Anchorage.

“It kind of keeps their minds busy and not thinking about what’s going on right now,” she said…
