Armed man arrested after acting ‘erratically’ with gun, barricading self near Anchorage Boys and Girls club, police say

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – An armed man barricaded himself near the Woodland Park Boys and Girls club on Friday afternoon after police say he was seen “behaving erratically.”

The incident briefly closed roads on 36th Avenue near Lois Drive around 1 p.m., according to the Anchorage Police Department.

When officers arrived on the scene, the department said it found the man barricaded in a building on the 3500 block of Willow Street.

Police said the man had warrants out for his arrest…
