ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Anchorage School District is gearing up to host “community conversations” on possible school closures next year but some parents and others are fighting back.
Lake Otis Elementary in Anchorage and Fire Lake Elementary in Eagle River are the two schools Superintendent Jharrett Bryantt is recommending for closure and repurposing due to declining enrollment.
