ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Anchorage School Board will be taking up consideration on the recommended closure of Lake Otis and Fire Lake elementary schools at Tuesday’s meeting.
At the beginning of October, the Anchorage School District announced their recommendation for the two elementary schools. The board will not likely vote on the recommended closures but rather discuss the merits of both recommendations and hear from members of the public.
