On November 4, 2025, the Anchorage Police Department (APD) released its first monthly report on the city’s new illegal camping and fire-ban ordinances. The public dashboard, launched earlier this year, provides data on enforcement since the ordinances took effect this summer.
According to the report, there have been 18 arrests and 284 voluntary compliances under the illegal camping ordinance. Twenty individuals accepted services such as shelter or treatment.
