ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Town Square Park in downtown Anchorage now has cameras up and running, as the Anchorage Police Department (APD) aims to lower crime rates downtown.
The nine cameras were officially launched last Friday as part of the city’s overall vision for public safety within the Municipality of Anchorage. It comes after the Municipality initially announced its plans in May.
