Anchorage man convicted of murder after jury finds he shot neighbor amid noise dispute

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – An Anchorage jury returned a guilty verdict Thursday against Dustin Perry, 34, for first and second-degree murder in the 2021 shooting death of his neighbor, Clayton Martinelli.

Prosecutors said the two men were neighbors engaged in an ongoing noise dispute and that Perry’s landlord had recently asked him to move out because of repeated complaints.

Evidence presented at the trial showed the conflict escalated after Perry used vulgar and offensive language toward Martinelli and his family shortly after 2 a.m. April 5, 2021…
