Man charged in Fox Hollow killing waives court appearance

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – An Anchorage man facing murder charges following a shooting at Fox Hollow Golf Course & Sports Dome did not appear in court on Thursday. Luke Charles Simonson is facing two murder charges and an assault charge after the state said he shot and killed 45-year-old Timothy Grosdidier. On Thursday, according to Andrew Lambert, who represented Simonson on Thursday, Simonson waived his right to appear in court and has entered a not guilty plea.

According to the charging documents, Simonson fatally shot Grosdidier following a verbal altercation. After, the criminal complaint said, Simonson was accused of almost hitting a child in the parking lot with a car.

Simonson’s next court date is a Rule 5 hearing set for November 19th at 8:30 a.m…
