Nearly three-fourths of Anchorage residents concerned about roof cave-ins due to snow, survey finds

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A recent survey administered by University of Alaska Anchorage associate professor Jennifer Schmidt found that over 70% of respondents had concerns about their roofs holding up under the weight of snow.

“I was surprised,” Schmidt said. “And when you include people that said ‘maybe,’ that number jumps up to 80%.”
