2025 Anchorage SuperTour: Results, Schedule, and More

ANCHORAGE — The 2025/2026 SuperTour season kicks off at Kincaid Park this weekend. There have been… a lot of moving parts this week, shall we say. 24 hours ago (as I write this at noon on Friday), the sprint course was becoming increasingly water-saturated, as a light rain covered everything at approximately 34° F. Seventy-two hours ago, this weekend of racing was set to occur in Fairbanks. Today, it is 19° F at the venue, rapidly chilling the moisture from the nearly two inches of snow that fell overnight. Skiing is great today, though it will, unfortunately, be colder tomorrow. And windier.

The transformation at the venue has been profound: The host club, Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage, did a hell of a lot of work between Wednesday and Thursday to get snow into position. I know everyone always says to thank the race organizers, but, really, if you’re out there this weekend, you should thank the race organizers…
