ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A section of the Dalton Highway that was closed overnight fully reopened Saturday evening, according to the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT).
DOT said around 10 a.m. Saturday that crews were working to reopen the road and that avalanche mitigation would be done. It noted there were blizzard condition were continuing across the North Slope.
