Late Palmer fire chief honored in memorial procession down Glenn Highway

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A procession honoring the life of former Palmer Fire & Rescue Chief Chad Cameron, who died in early December, was held Saturday down the Glenn Highway.

Dozens of emergency vehicles escorted the procession from Palmer to Anchorage honoring Cameron as taps played in the background.

The department confirmed Cameron died after a battle with brain cancer.
