In Anchorage, firefighters say one person has died in a mobile home fire at Dimond Estates Trailer Court.
The Anchorage Fire Department responded to the fire early Wednesday morning around 5:00 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found approximately half of the trailer consumed in flames and smoke.
Fire crews conducted an offensive fire attack and search, and one person was located deceased inside the home. Authorities say the origin and cause of the fire are under investigation by the AFD Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Anchorage Police Department has been notified.
