Saturday and Sunday are First Alert Weather Days as high winds and heavy snow move from Southwest to Southcentral and Southeast Alaska.
A very light, dry snow started falling in Anchorage around lunchtime Friday and will continue to fall through Saturday morning. Anchorage should expect 3-5″ of snow accumulation. Similar amounts will fall near Kenai, with 1-3″ likely in the Valley and 1-3″ near Homer and Seward. 3-6″ of snow is likely from the Copper River Basin to Valdez through Sunday…
