ANCHOR POINT — The Alaska Office of Special Prosecutions has determined that an Alaska State Trooper was legally justified in the fatal shooting of a man wanted on a felony warrant at Stariski State Campground last fall.
According to a January 5 press release from the Alaska Department of Law, the Office of Special Prosecutions completed its review of the September 25, 2025, officer-involved shooting that resulted in the death of 30-year-old Anchorage resident Tyler Moyer.
