ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – One lane on part of Elmore Road in Anchorage will be closed for the rest of Sunday, the Anchorage Police Department said around 1 p.m.
An APD dispatch supervisor said the “creek has possibly frozen over and started flooding part of the roadway.”
APD said the right northbound lane of Elmore is closed between Dowling Road and Dr. M.L.K. Jr Avenue “for the remainder of the day due to hazardous conditions.”
