ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A crash involving a school bus and a truck temporarily closed both lanes of Northern Lights Boulevard between East High School and Wesleyan Avenue on Wednesday morning.
One ASD employee and 31 students were on board at the time, according to Corey Young, Anchorage School District assistant communications director.
Everyone on board was able to safely evacuate the bus. An alternate Anchorage school bus took the students to school, according to district officials.
